The Prayas India

By Amresh Kumar, CEO

Rapid technological development is dramatically changing the way education has been delivered to students. Now it has become possible to teach and train someone without their physical presence in a classroom. The only thing that the prospective students will be required is a computer or a smartphone for pursuing a particular course or getting trained for any competitive examination. "Being physically present in a classroom and undertaking training for hours is time-consuming for students who stay in remote areas or working professionals. For enabling such aspirants to access the best training possible, made us establish the Prayas India in 2015, where we conduct both offline and online courses," says Amresh Kumar, CEO, The Prayas India. An ISO certified institution, the Prayas India, since its commencement have emerged as a leader in its domain and has been continuously receiving appreciation and praises from numerous aspirants across the country.

Ranked as number 1 in Maharashtra for Civil Service Exam Preparation, the institute has won numerous awards for its quality of training and commitments, such as Prime Time Global Education Excellence Award 2017, the most Innovative Institute Award 2017 by APS Research Media, Students Choice Award 2017, the Goal Award 2017 and many more. "Generally referred as 'E-Pathshala', the online version of Prayas India has been designed very carefully, taking in consideration the varied needs of the recipients," shares Kumar. Following the model of "Learn, Practice and Analyze", the institute offers wide arrays of courses classified into five verticals, viz. UPSC Civil Services, MBA Entrance, Law Entrance, Maharashtra Public Service Commission and Bank, SSC & RRB.

"In the model that we abide by at Prayas India, lets our students go through a step-by-step process where first they are encouraged to learn or comprehend the topic, followed by practice and analyze via various mock tests, self-evaluation, and assignments. If the students are found in doubt, they are asked to repeat the cycle for better understanding. Those who are clear with the topic are allowed to proceed towards other topics," explains Kumar. Emphasizing effortless studying, the trainers of the institute who are extremely versed and experts in their subject matter, boost the students to get through the examinations through easy and smart learning techniques. Kumar adds, "The idea is to simplify the overall examination process. Although it's online, we put our entire effort to develop a healthy relationship between the students and the trainers, which highly facilitates the learning outcome".

The institute also makes it a point to motivate the trainers to keep them updated and adopt innovative techniques to deliver the education. "Facing the camera stands as a challenge for some. Hence, making sure that our teachers are ample confident while teaching, we provide them regular training," pinpoints Kumar. For ensuring the timely evaluation, content preparation, and quality maintenance, the institute has included different departments which look after the appropriate and seamless operation of the courses. "In order to provide quick response and feedback to our students, we have set a 24 hours window, where students are replied to their queries by an assigned trainer within a day," claims Kumar. Already earned a good name among the student community and boasting of increment of enrollment rate with each passing day, the Prayas India is planning to introduce more certification courses in coming years.
