Dr. Constantin (Costas) Chassapis is Senior Vice Provost for Graduate Education and Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Stevens Institute of Technology. With over 35 years at Stevens, he has held roles including Chair of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Deputy Dean of the School of Engineering & Science, and Vice Provost for Academics. Dr. Chassapis earned his B.E. and M.E. from the City College of New York and his Ph.D. from the City University of New York.

His research focuses on integrated product and process development, learning enhancement, and production system optimization, resulting in over 100 technical articles and awards from organizations like NSF and ASME. Dr. Chassapis is recognized for leadership and academic excellence, receiving awards including the President’s Leadership Award at Stevens.
