Schulich also offers eight different oneyear Masters Programs in Accounting, Business Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Finance, Management, Marketing, Real Estate & Infrastructure, and Supply Chain Management.

Schulich In India

As the first major business school to deliver an internationally recognized two-year MBA program in India, Schulich is acknowledged as a leading provider of transformational management education to many of India's best and brightest minds. Schulich offers the first year of its MBA in India program at its Hyderabad campus, taught by the same award-winning faculty members who regularly teach at its Toronto campuses.

In the second year of their MBA in India program, students study in Toronto and customize their studies by choosing and combining from Schulich's 17 MBA specializations. Additionally, the students of the MBA in India program may also pursue the Graduate Diploma in Culture, Communication & Leadership in Canadian Business, a concurrent MBA diploma that provides an in-depth appreciation of the cultural differences, business practices, conventions and vocabulary needed to succeed in the Canadian business environment.

To expand Schulich's presence in India and help candidates pursue an exceptional international career in the field of accounting, Schulich is launching its DIAc (Diploma in Intermediate Accounting) program in India. Students can study for four months at the Schulich Hyderabad Campus before moving to Toronto to finish their MAcc (Master of Accounting) program.

Transforming Students INTO Full-Fledged Accountants

The DIAc/MAcc program is a 10-year-old program that allows people without any accounting background to become full-fledged accountants within a matter of 16 months. Irrespective of the background they come from, after the completion of the DIAc and MAcc program, the students are eligible to appear for the Common Final Exam (CFE) of the CPA Institute of Canada and start their journey as professional accountants.

Equipped with instructors and educators with a deep and rich history of teaching and real-world experience, Schulich wants to create more awareness around accounting as a career choice in Canada as well as India. Teaching students all the foundational skills required to succeed in our DIAc and MAcc program, the Schulich School of Business ensures that students get adequate exposure to quality instructors and proven accounting professionals to bring industry experience into the classroom. Schulich offers a very well-known and top-quality accounting program that has been in existence ever since the inception of the School.

One of the unique features that makes this program special is the Schulich accounting case method, in which from day one students are put in a business case context and they have to use their critical thinking faculties to come up with answers, taking into consideration the different stakeholders involved.

"œFrom day one, our program emphasizes critical thinking, analytical thinking, and thinking outside the box, through which we prepare students to be able to communicate accounting issues to others, take leadership positions, and make decisions based on accounting information", says Dr. Viswanath (Shanker) Trivedi, Program Director of Schulich's Master of Accounting. "œWe use the same Schulich case method to prepare our students for the CFE exam and to succeed in the profession of accounting".

"As the first major business School to deliver an Internationally recognized Two-year MBA program with India, Schulich is acknowledged As a leading provider of Transformational management Education to many of India's Best and brightest minds"

"œOur objective for the DIAc in India program is to offer a unique Masters program for graduates of liberal arts, science, engineering, and business programs from India who want to make a career in the field of accounting", says Vijender Trivedi, Director of Student Services & International Relations, Schulich School of Business.

"œThe unique structure of the program will allow students to get the best of both worlds - India and Canada. Students will complete the first term (Term 0) of the program in Hyderabad, and join the rest of the group in Toronto to complete Term 1 of DIAc and two terms of our Master of Accounting (MAcc) program. The entire program will be delivered by our award-winning faculty members. The ultimate goal is to help students get their Masters from Canada's best B-school, become a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), and launch a global career in the field of accounting", he concludes.
