The Rathinam campus takes inspiration from Carnegie Mellon University, a prestigious institution known for its integration of technology and education. Similar to Carnegie Mellon, the Rathinam campus comprises multiple educational institutions, catering to students from Pre-KG to Ph.D., along with IT parks, Government of India funded Business Incubation Centre, and comprehensive living infrastructure.

Rathinam Technical Campus has achieved excellence in providing quality education and has been affiliated with Anna University since its establishment. The campus has received several accreditations, such as NBA (CSE, IT & ECE), and NAAC A+ (3.45 grade) in its first cycle. Recognized in the Excellent band of NIRF-Innovation (previously known to be ARIIA Ranking).

Encouraging Tech based Learning


Rathinam Technical Campus offers an acclaimed undergraduate program, 'Artificial Intelligence and Data Science', known for its practical laboratory-based curriculum. The program equips students with practical skills and knowledge in AI and data science, ensuring industry readiness.

Advanced AI tools are integrated into the program, allowing students to analyze data, implement machine learning algorithms, and develop AI models.

Participation in events like kaggle/hackerearth competitions is actively encouraged, providing students with real-world problem-solving opportunities and exposure to the wider AI community. A collaboration with 'Cloud Destinations Infotech' has led to the establishment of a student team called 'CD2L,' focused on training 36 students in Data Engineering. Notably, two students from CD2L have secured placements in the company due to their outstanding performance.
The program aims to cultivate a skilled workforce capable of addressing real-world challenges with effective solutions.

Rathinam Technical Campus is equipped with five centre of excellences such as Centre of Excellence for Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, sponsored by Augusta Hi tech Soft solution and Orbit shifters.

Centre of Excellence for Networking and Cybersecurity, sponsored by Zacco Cyber Security. Centre of Excellence for Robotics and Automation sponsored by SPI Equipment India. Bio-Innovation Hub: The campus also houses a Bio-Innovation Hub, which serves as a Centre of Excellence for biotechnology-related research and development. Research Hub and Fabrication Laboratory: Recognized as a research center for the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Additionally, the campus is home to the Atal Incubation Centre (AIC RAISE), supported by the Atal Innovation Mission, NITI Aayog, Government of India. This incubation center provides support and resources for student entrepreneurship, fostering an environment that encourages innovation and the development of start-up ventures.

At Rathinam Technical Campus, we implement the Students 360 curriculum, incorporating the Centre of Excellence model and focusing on 12 key parameters: Happy Campus, Personality Grooming, Training & Placement, Research, Practical Learning, Core Learning CoE Model, Innovation & Design Thinking, Peer Learning, Ability Grouping, Non-Academic Credit, Entrepreneurship, and Startup School.
