Following a Holistic Approach

Understanding the continued importance of legal research skills in practice, IIL has strengthened the research base of its students through boosting them to indulge in robust research activities. The institute provides a wonderful platform to the students for grooming their research acumen through its series of publications viz. the legal voice of India - the Law Journal (ISSN No. 22778454), Nyay Disha (Monthly Newsletter) and Udgam Vigyati (Journal of Law & Management). The faculty members of IIL, who are themselves quite involved in taking up research activities, motivates the students to comprehend the subject matter by embracing deep and explicit knowledge. Adding another feather to its cap of success, IIL has signed an MOU with Common Law Admission Test (CLAT).

Situated in a lush green campus spread over 7 acres, the institute's world-class facilities aids the students greatly in pursuing learning with a theoretical and empirical approach in a suitable and positive environment. From well-furnished AC classrooms to an E-library with e-resources like Manupatra, SSCe and Moot court hall to sports grounds, the institute renders assistance to the students in every possible manner. Along with research and regular class activities, the students of IIL are also encouraged to undertake summer and winter internship where they can apply their knowledge and skills in a professional setting outside the classroom. This attempt utterly helps in bridging the gap between the industry and academics, enabling the students to have a close look at the industry and professional life. Notably, the institute also renders the opportunity for its 4th-year students to visit an International court of justice (Hague, Netherlands).

Expanding the horizon of learning and letting the students explore their boundaries, IIL with its National Law Fest "LEX BONANZA" every year, makes it feasible for students to participate in legal battle with other law aspirants. The fest consists of Moot court competition, Parliamentary debate, street play, judgment writing and so on. Placing its students in organizations like Kotak Mahindra Bank, Laxyo Energy Ltd., Indore, Bharti Infratel Ltd., Indore, and many more, IIL is undoubtedly standing upon its promises and setting a benchmark in administering high-quality legal education through creating seasoned law professionals.
