The School of Law and Justice offers five-year integrated undergraduate courses in BA.LLB (H), BBA.LLB (H), B.Sc. LLB (H). It also offers postgraduate courses such as LLM and Ph.D. to train scholars in research and teaching.

Increasing Students' Mental Diverseness and Knowledge Horizon


World-class infrastructure, highly experienced faculty group, industry-oriented teaching, lush green pollution-free campus, personality enhancement center, training and coaching for judicial and other competitive examinations and homely accommodation are the main features of the School of Law and Justice. The faculty at the School of Law and Justice adopts pedagogical methodologies such as case studies of anatomical (settled case study) and psychological character (legal framework study) to ensure that the students learn the subjects more easily and realistically.

Alongside, mooting on all the law subjects, debate on newly formed or altered legal agenda, indoor game of law, antakshari in law, art of law research, review of the latest judgments of high courts and supreme court, hat speeches, panel discussion on contemporary issues, quiz on laws, outdoor activities/ games in law like passing the parcel of law, one-liner contest, legal maxims and more are the other fascinating factors for learning law at the School of Law and Justice. To increase students' productivity, from time to time faculty conducts movie and video watching sessions (related to the law) and later holds a discussion on those. CLAT model Q-As, mock tests, storytelling competitions, professional protocol and computer skills training for law research are the latest learning methods adopted by the School. Since the internship is an important limb of the process of making the students practice-ready, giving students internship opportunities in the topmost judicial body Supreme Court of India is one of the topmost important priorities of the School of Law and Justice. As interns, the students also join High Court, District & Sessions Courts, tribunals and others, to gain pre-professional experience. These apart, they intern in research Centers, NGOs, quasi-judicial bodies, law firms, and more. Simultaneously keeping the students' physical health unharmed sports and indoor games are parts of the daily activities, which keep the law students confident, adaptable, alert and happy. Adamas University's Sports Department is fully equipped with all the sports kits, gadgets and equipment. In case of need, physiological counseling is also done.

Message from the Dean, School of Law and Justice

We have highly qualified trainers to completely develop the personality of the students, so that they are able to face any challenge, can reach new heights, do not ever hesitate to share their thoughts. The potential is attempted to be developed so that they become an asset of the nation," says Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Yagnik. The School of Law and Justice is proactively making the society aware of their legal rights and duties through various initiatives like Legal Literacy Camps. Further, modernization with NAAC accreditation of the university is what the School of Law and Justice is aspiring for in the future.

Apart from administering Law courses, the university also offers a plethora of other courses. "Undergraduate courses on BBA, B.Tech (CSE), BCA, BA. Economics (H), B.Sc. Economics (H), and B. Ed. Education are some of the other courses we offer. Students can opt for postgraduate and Ph.D. programs in management, engineering, computer application, finance and commerce, economics, general science, mathematics and statistics, language and journalism and mass communication. Integrated master's program in physics, chemistry, mathematics and computing, geography, law and geoinformatics are also available for interested candidates. With LL.B (gen) and LL.B (Special), LLM. & Ph.D. degrees in Law, Prof. (Dr.) Jyotsna Yagnik joined Adamas University as Pro-Vice-Chancellor and presently she is serving as a Dean of the School of Law & Justice. She has a teaching experience of about 34 years and is also the Founder-Director of Yagnik Law Academy. She had also served as Principal Judge at City Civil and Sessions Courts, Ahmedabad, Gujarat. She had been associated as prof. clinical legal education with the Institute of Law, Nirma University; as faculty at Gujarat Forensic Sciences University, Raksha Shakti University and more. Over the years, she has imparted training on laws to trial court judges, trainee Officers, Senior Executives, Corporate Officers and is working as an Arbitrator while also being a trained mediator and trainer of ADR as well. Jyotsna has been empaneled as a conciliator in the International Panel of ICADR and is also awardee of various awards.
