Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) to organize an info-session at Chennai and share admission information for its B.Tech. programme (2020-2024)
Mahindra Ecole Centrale (MEC) College of Engineering is organizing an Information Session for B.Tech aspirants in Chennai on Sunday, 2nd February 2020. MEC will share details of admissions to the 4 year B.Tech programme at its Hyderabad campus for the academic batch 2020-2024 with prospective students and their parents.
The MEC Admissions connect session will be a daylong session beginning from 10 am to 5 pm and will be held at Hotel GRT Grand, 120, Sir Thyagaraya Road, T Nagar, Chennai. Dr. Venkata Dilip Kumar Pasupuleti of the School of Engineering Sciences at Mahindra Ecole Centrale along with Mr. Rakesh Sreedharan, Head – Admissions at Mahindra Ecole Centrale will take the students and their guardians through a session on Engineering as a career choice and address the queries of the participants.
“Our focus is on creating awareness of different avenues available today to students when they choose engineering as a career. The sessions will showcase MEC and its very different, holistic education concepts of Engineering to students. Key aspects of education at MEC focus on multi-disciplinary knowledge, personality development, and critical-creative thinking”, says Mr. Rakesh Sreedharan, Head – Admissions, Mahindra Ecole Centrale.
The aspirants and their parents will be taken through a comprehensive module that showcases the MEC differentiation. MEC has a total of 240 seats available in its B.Tech Programme - 60 each for the four courses offered - in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering.
Those students who have a 10+2 or equivalent from any statutory board with 60% aggregate marks in all subjects or equivalent grade for the students from IB or other approved Board are eligible to apply for the seats. The admissions will be granted on the basis of either JEE Mains (Qualify in JEE Main examination: eligible to write the JEE Advanced 2020 exam) or SAT Subject Test scores (minimum 1800 in subjects which should include Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry).
