I-merit, SRMIST to Launch Industry-Oriented Skill Development Programs

I-merit, the flagship program of Scholars Merit Online Pvt. Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding with SRM Institute of Science & Technology, Delhi-NCR Campus, for introducing a series of skill development programs under the i-merit banner. These programs, aimed at increasing students’ employability index, would include short-term 120-hour courses to full 12-to-25-week structured formats for industry-oriented learning.

Talking about the partnership, Nancy D, CBO of Scholars Merit PVT Ltd. commented, “At i-merit, we understand that while academic degrees give foundational knowledge, they seldom remain sufficient to prepare students for the real-world professional challenges ahead. These skill development programs at SRMIST provide industry-aligned training to fill this gap and improve employability. We plan to reach out to empower over 50,000 students with partnerships like this by December 2025.”

SRMIST, Delhi-NCR Campus, is a premier educational institution offering a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs in engineering and  technology areas like management, computer applications, pharmacy, and hotel management. It has been accorded the status of Category-1 university by MHRD and UGC. SRMIST is an A++ accredited by NAAC and is AICTE and PCI approved. They are working in full swing after getting this recognition and aim to be among the top private universities in the world by 2025.

This MoU with SRMIST is coming on the backdrop of i-merit's recent tie-up with Sri Sai Group of Institutes where 300 students are currently pursuing i-merit Nova courses. In an ambitious plan to tie up with 100 colleges to touch 50,000 student lives, i-merit continues to forge its path in skill development in India to make sure graduates are competent to meet the demands of the shaping market in the future.
