IIT Patna launches three new UG programmes, Admission based on JEE Advanced score

IIT ( Indian Institute of Technology) Patna launches three new UG programmes. The courses are – BTech in AI( Artificial Intelligence) and Data Science, BTech in Engineering Physics, BS in Mathematics and Computing. Admission to these courses will be based on JEE Advanced score. The new courses have been launched to cater to the technological advancements and also to help students in order to have a deeper understanding in these fields.

Rajendra Paramanik, Assistant Professor Economics as well as  Professor in-charge of Public Relations said, ” The institution has alloted 36 seats for admission in AI and Data Science, 36 for Engineering Physics, and 48 for BS in Mathematics and Computing”. According to the official statement, AI and Data Science program will help students in handling large data volumes . It also mentioned that Engineering Physics course is a mixture of Engineering, Physics and Mathematics and on the other hand, Mathematics and Computing is a blend of mathematical as well as analytical components. The seat capacity has been raised from 427 to 547 .
