IIT Jodhpur launches PG diploma in data engineering and cloud computing

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jodhpur is offering postgraduate diploma in data engineering as well as cloud computing. The last date to apply for the programme is March 11, 2022, and the first batch is set to begin from March 26, 2022. The programme is supported by WileyNXT, an online executive education programme partner.  

The 12-month intensive programme comprising 600 plus learning hours and live online classes by IIT Jodhpur faculty, and industry experts offers a total of 36 academic credits. 

Eligibility criteria 

Candidates must check the eligibility criteria before applying for postgraduate diploma in data engineering and cloud computing at IIT Jodhpur. 

• The applicant must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science (four-year programme) or a master’s degree in science, MCA, or in a related field. 
• A minimum of 50 per cent marks in undergraduate/postgraduate or a minimum CGPA of 5.0 on a scale of 10 with corresponding proportional requirements when the scales are other than 10. 
• The applicant must be a working professional with a minimum of two years of work experience (after qualifying degree) in industry/R&D laboratories/academic institutions at the time of registration to the programme. 

Selection process 

• The applicant must qualify for the written test conducted by IIT Jodhpur or its appointed partner. The program’s selection and nomination will be based on the pre-assessment test and submission of required documents. 
• Upon passing the exam IIT Jodhpur Admission team will review the application, documents, and exam score to ascertain the selection followed by an offer letter.
