IIT JAM Counselling 2025: Registration deadline extended to April 11

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has prolonged the registration window for online counselling for the Joint Admission Test for Master (JAM) 2025. Eligible Aspirants can now register on the JAM Online Admission Portal System (JOAPS) until April 11 on the official portal at joaps.iitd.ac.in. As per the official schedule, the first admission list for IIT JAM 2025 is expected to be published on May 26, 2025.

Candidates whose names appear on the first admission list must pay the seat booking fee online by May 30, 2025, to confirm their admission.

Steps to Apply:

Step 1: Visit the official website – jam2025.iitd.ac.in

Step 2: Click on the JOAPS 2025 portal link.

Step 3: Enter the required details to register

Step 4: Log in by using the credentials that is provided

Step 5: Fill in the JAM 2025 application form with personal & academic information

Step 6: pay the fee amount and submit the application

Candidates for the MSc, MTech, or PhD programs at IIT Delhi and other institutions participating in the admission process must pay a non-refundable application fee amounting to Rs. 750. In addition to the application fee, candidates who get allotment of a seat in the counselling round of the admission process are required to pay a non-refundable seat acceptance fee. For candidates belonging to General category, OBC-NCL and EWS, the seat acceptance fee is Rs. 15,000.
