IIT Delhi Announces Research Fellowship for Top Engineering Students

The Academic Section of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, has sent out invitations for those interested to apply for admission into the Undergraduate Summer Research Fellowship Programme 2025.

An exceptionally bright batch of undergraduate students with innovative research and development projects under the guidance of IIT Delhi faculty will be chosen. Students from various engineering institutes, other than IITs, in India or abroad, and within the top 10 ranks in their specific programme/branch, may apply for the entrance.

The selected student shall register at IIT Delhi as a visiting student but shall not be required to pay for the registration of the Institute. The selected student shall be required to get himself or herself insured against any eventuality for the period of stay at this institute. The student will have to bear the insurance charges. The insurance shall cover accident and accidental death.

This fellowship is open to any undergraduate, except students from ILTs, who have completed 2 years of study towards their Engineering degree and are in the top ten positions in their respective programmes.

The fellowship shall be taken by the recipient during the Institute vacation period from 15th May,  2025 (Thursday) to 15th July, 2025 (Tuesday).
