ESCP Business School seeks partnerships with Indian scientific institutions

ESCP Business School is a very nice school located in Europe, which, along with the European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen's trip to India on February 27-28, 2025, sees attempts to set up new partnerships in India. The visit furthered the potential of the new stronger partnership between the European Union and India in trade, technology, and security. It is a private business school with a history dating back to 1819 and is based in Paris. It is located in six European campuses in Paris, Berlin, London, Madrid, Turin, and Warsaw, as well as having a branch in Dubai.

ESCP intends to explore emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence -AI working with India and France.  In its latest manifestation, the Paris-based AI Action Summit co-chaired by Macron and Modi underscored the common push toward AI. ESCP entered into a partnership with OpenAI to bring in ChatGPT Edu to enhance learning and AI-driven research. In India, ESCP has established close links with some of the top institutions via exchange and twin-degree programs. Some of these institutions include IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Calcutta, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow, IIM Udaipur, MDI Gurgaon, and SPJIMR. The number of Indian students enrolled at ESCP has increased recently: 608 in the 2024-2025 academic years alone-only 16% more from three years ago.

Professor Léon Laulusa, Executive Director and Dean of ESCP Business School, expressed the school's commitment to exploring new partnerships in India. "ESCP Business School is committed to exploring new partnerships in India, particularly with top scientific universities, to foster cross-disciplinary innovation and collaboration," he stated. Professor Laulusa plans to visit India in late March 2025 to explore these opportunities further.
