As part of the COMEDK counselling process until November 25, the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK) allowed students to choose their options for undergraduate engineering seats. Students seeking admission would have to log in to the website using the candidate's login credentials to fill out the online COMEDK choice filling options.

As a combined single exam, COMEDK performs the UGET and Uni-GAUGE-E. The scores obtained in the eligibility test can be used by candidates seeking admission to BE or BTech courses offered by colleges affiliated to the Karnataka Technical Colleges Foundation Trust and COMEDK UGET member institutes or participating colleges under Uni-GAUGE-E.

"The B.Tech candidate's choice filling form is now available on the login of the candidate. The last date to apply for choice filling is 25 Nov 2020 until 04:00 PM," read a message on the website.

Who is allowed to attend COMEDK Counselling?

• In physics, chemistry and mathematics, along with chemistry/biotechnology/biology/electronics/computer, have passed class 12/equivalent with 45 percent marks (40 percent marks for SC, ST, OBS of Karnataka State).
• Applicants who have appeared and passed the COMEDK UGET exam.
• Subject to the fulfilment of eligibility, supplementary candidates may appear in rounds 2 and 3 of counselling.

How to register for UGET COMEDK Counselling?

• Login to the Application Form for COMEDK at www.comedk.org
• Click on the "Registration of Counseling" tab.
• Payment of Rs 5000/- by credit card/debit card/netbanking as part of the tuition fee
• Click on the 'Upload Document' tab.
• Upload all mandatory verification documents. (Ensure that readable scanned copies of documents are uploaded. Do not take photographs of mobile documents for uploading)
• Only candidates whose verification of the document has been completed will be eligible for another process.

How to Complete COMEDK Counselling 2020 Choice Round 1?

• STEP 1: Visit the COMEDK Official Websites
• STEP 2: Click on the link 'Choice Filling' designated
• STEP 3: Login with credentials in the next window
• STEP 4: Fill and submit the Choice Filling Application Form

How can the students check if the document is verified?

• The verification status of the document in your application form will be updated by 30 September at the latest.
• In order to check for document verification status, you are asked to login to your application frequently.
• If incorrect/illegible documents are uploaded, your registration and verification status for counselling may appear as 'Rejected'.
• Candidates with incomplete/rejected document verification status will not be able to participate in the further process.
• Your candidacy may be rejected at any stage of the counselling/admission process in the event of an incorrect statement in the application form or documents.
• Only candidates whose verification of the document has been completed will be eligible for another process.

The COMEDK UGET 2020 Counseling Rounds

COMEDK UGET 2020 Counselling will have three rounds. Applicants who register for advice and complete verification of documents will only be eligible to participate in counselling. The eligibility to participate in Round 2 and Round 3 will depend on the option exercised or the allocation decision taken during Round 1 and Round 2. After all rounds of regular counselling are completed, there will be an exclusive round of COMEDK counselling for candidates passed out in the supplementary exam conducted by PU Board / 10+2 for the remaining seats.

For Engineering of Round COMEDK 2019 Counselling, COMEDK has published the cutoff ranks. To get an idea of the cutoff mark, candidates who are appearing in the COMEDK UGET 2020 counselling should search the last ranks of Round 2 counselling.
