Gamification in E-Learning System

In the world of time and technology, gamification takes the mechanism of games and places it into other activities. Gamification in the e-learning system motivates and engages learners and emphasizes the learning goals that have been set. This produces big results which also takes the elements of games and uses them to motivate and train. Several Gamification tools can be used in the e-learning method and they are;

1.Class Dojo-

This application works better usually for primary students where they can keep track of their skills and talents. This digital dojo will be assigning each student a little avatar which is a little monster that collects all the points of students for anything they participate in. Class Dojo also provides feedback on the students’ performance and also helps to connect with students, teachers, and parents.

2.Kahoot-

Kahoot makes students light up more interest in learning which uses images, colorful interface, music to make the student excited in doing the task. The tasks for students in the application include vocabulary tests, quizzing, and much more. Students also receive points for the task which is completed within a period and count.

The gamification in e-learning will help students keep motivated and engaged with fun using game elements in the learning system.

3.IF-AT (Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique)-

The tool Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique helps the learners to scratch a card to determine the correct answer and provides immediate response or feedback for the multiple-choice kind of questions. IF-AT helps to build an interactive learning opportunity for students and more assessment opportunities for teachers.

4.Coursera-

Coursera is a tool for free learning resources for students which is available on the online platform and is for free. This helps build skills, learn new courses from top universities and other organizations, and offer certifications and degrees in various subjects.

5.BookWidgets-

This application provides 40 different templates for teachers to craft a lot of interactive lessons and it can be easily used for the ones who use google classroom or any other device. This creative template helps the teacher interact with the students more and help with reviews, tests, quizzes, and much more. Also, the work of the students will automatically be pointed or marked and teachers can track the work and evaluation or grade of the students. The grade will automatically be entered in the grade book.

The gamification in e-learning will help students keep motivated and engaged with fun using game elements in the learning system. This inspires the students in keeping up with the interest of learning and continuing it and helps in developing and solving skills, and new visionaries. Also, the gamification strategies such as scores, badges, and much more will help to increase leadership quality and cultivate time management.
