JSID announces 25 percent Scholarship for UCEED Qualified Students

JS Institute of Design (JSID), an Indian design institute has released a scholarship scheme for students who have passed the Undergraduate Common Entrance Examination for Design (UCEED). Students with a UCEED rank ranging up to 2000 can avail a 25 percent scholarship on fee charges for the undergraduate degree programmes in design from the institute.

Indian design industry is seeing a tremendous growth, growing 25 percent each year in a variety of fields such as graphic, interior, and fashion designing. To keep pace with the latest industry trends, JSID offers state-of-the-art undergraduate and postgraduate design courses in a range of fields including interior design, advertising design, visual communication, and games design. In association with France's École Intuit Lab, a highly renowned institution, JSID offers state-of-the-art design courses with a curriculum that combines design thinking, business planning, and project management to make students industry-ready, user-centric, and technology-enabled.

JSID's membership in the UCEED network reiterates its dedication to design excellence in education and fostering a dynamic Indian design industry. The JSID academic programs that provide scholarship advantage under UCEED are Undergraduate Degree in UI/UX Design, Undergraduate Degree in Game Art & Design, Undergraduate Degree in Animation & Motion Design and Undergraduate Degree in Visual Communication & Digital Design.

Candidates who are willing to apply for design courses in the institute can verify the eligibility requirements are Must have cleared Class 12th from a recognized board for undergraduate program admissions, Must have completed graduation in any discipline to enroll in postgraduate program, The applicants are required to appear for a Creative Intelligence Test (CIT) to evaluate creativity, spatial awareness, and general design acumen, and then a personal interview. But UCEED students are exempt from appearing in the CIT.
